Unisys re-licenses Simply Testing’s software test automation technology  

Unisys Insurance Services Ltd (UISL) has re-licensed Simply Testing’s software test automation technology.  UISL has been using the technology to automate the testing of the Unisure product since May 2002 and has now renewed the license.  The agreement provides for UISL to continue using Simply Testing’s WinRunner version of its Advanced Test Automation Architecture (ATAA^TM) and the TestCoda^TM automation generator (previously known as CISSTest).

Unisys statement:

"Unisys have been using Simply Testing's TestCoda tool, its Advanced Test Automation Architecture and Test Data Manager Excel add-in since May 2002. During this period Unisys have been happy with the high levels of service provided and the Simply Testing toolset has met all requirements. Unisys are pleased with both the functionality and performance of the products."

Simply Testing Statement:

"The automation architecture has given a head start to UISL", said John Kent, Managing Director of Simply Testing Ltd.  "It will continue to give UISL cost savings for each release.  ATAA^TM is a tried and tested method for test automation which includes thousands of lines of WinRunner TSL.  The TestCoda^TM generator means that UISL can build all of the TSL automation code in a fraction of the time of conventional methods".
