license TestCoda from Simply Testing Ltd

has licensed the TestCoda automation code generation tool (previously called
CISSTest) from Simply Testing Ltd. This gives Betfair the ability to
automatically generate all of the WinRunner code required to test its
website. As part of the deal Betfair can also generate automation code for
its back office administration system which is written in a mixture of VB,
ActiveX and HTML.
Aidus McVeigh, Tech QA Manger at
Betfair said "Simply Testing’s automation generation technology will provide
significant savings during the development of the automated tests and
further cost reductions during the maintenance phases. We won’t have our
technical testers coding masses of WinRunner TSL we’ll get TestCoda to
generate the code instead".

the need for manual scripting for Betfair", said John Kent, Managing
Director of Simply Testing Ltd. "It radically reduces the cost of software
test automation."
Simply Testing’s groundbreaking
TestCoda tool analyses software systems and automatically generates
automation code which can then be used to test the system. It eliminates
the need for painstaking manual ‘scripting’ during the build and maintenance
of the test automation. TestCoda can generate test code for WinRunner,
QARun, Robot, Visual Test and other commonly used tools.
